As participants in the 10th leadership class of Next Level Trainings (VIP 10), part of our transformational curriculum was to create a large-scale community service project for a local non-profit. We selected Flying Horse Farms (FHF), which “provides magical, transformative camp experiences for children with serious illnesses and their families – free of charge." We were given just 30 days to envision the unimaginable, create the impossible and deliver the unobtainable. See the impact we made and join us in continuing these efforts.
VIP 10 Columbus proudly supports Flying Horse Farms
Flying Horse Farms provides magical, transforming experiences for children with serious illnesses. Located on 200 acres in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, they serve hundreds of children and families each year - free of charge.
Flying Horse Farms is the first camp in the Midwest to become a member of the SeriousFun Children’s Network. Founded in 1988 by actor, philanthropist, and Ohio native, Paul Newman, the Network is a community of independently managed and financed camps and programs creating opportunities for children with serious illnesses and their families. The Network has evolved from one camp in Connecticut to a growing global community touching the lives of 864,000 children and families from 50 countries, across five continents.
