Our Vision
Nearly 18% of students in the areas in and around Pottstown, PA, approximately 23,645, face childhood hunger due to issues of homelessness and food insecurity. To overcome these issues and build a healthier community, we are supporting Operation Backpack, which provides meals, snacks, and water bottles to students who would otherwise go without over the weekend. Operation Backpack currently serves a total of 6 school districts, 41 schools, and 374 students, providing a total of 40,000 food items.

VIP 9 Philadelphia proudly supports operation backpack
As students in the 9th leadership class of Next Level Trainings, part of our transformation curriculum is to create a large-scale community service project for a local non-profit. Our team has chosen to support Operation Backpack and we are excited to create massive results for them over the course of 21 days, completed by May 24, 2019! We are committed to raising $50,000 and complete various special projects to support Operation Backpack in accessing crucial supplies that will ensure their continued impact on the Pottstown & Norristown communities.
