WHEN:
TODAY, Saturday, November 10, 2018
1:00-6:00pm

Media welcome from 3:15-4:00pm

WHERE:
LSS Faith Mission Shelter
245 N. Grant Avenue
Columbus, OH 43215

WHO:
The work will be performed by a group of leaders of varying, ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic status who have come together to be the change they want to see in the world.

WHY:
The physical improvement to the LSS Faith Mission facilities is part of a larger campaign to raise $162,000, collect 5,000 tangible goods, and provide 3,000 hours of volunteer support to LSS Faith Mission.

Each year, LSS Faith Mission provides more than 90,000 nights of shelter and serves three meals a day 365 days a year. LSS Faith Mission is a housing first organization. Housing first is an approach that offers permanent, affordable housing as quickly as possible, and then provides the supportive services and connections that people need to keep their housing and avoid returning to homelessness.
