ADVISORY: Boogie Down To Lift Teens Up
Local Activists Throw Dance Party To Benefit Teen Addiction Recovery
HILLIARD, OH — Local fun-seekers, families, businesses and activists are dancing the afternoon away for a good cause. The Making Magic for Maryhaven dance party, organized by Next Level Trainings’ current leadership class, is an afternoon of fun for kids and people of all ages. All proceeds will go directly to supporting the adolescent branch of Maryhaven, a treatment center empowering teens to battle addiction and go on to lead healthy, productive lives.
WHAT:
Hosted in Hilliard at The Makoy Center, activities will include a dance party, a lip sync battle, henna tattoos, carnival games, and more. Refreshments and food donated by local businesses will be served. There will also be a silent auction and opportunity to win various gifts donated by local and national businesses.

WHY:
The events are being held as part of a month-long fundraising and volunteer campaign by Next Level Trainings’ current leadership class. Teen addiction is a global epidemic. Maryhaven is a treatment center that empowers teens in Central Ohio to heal from addiction and co-occurring disorders with their compassionate, encouraging, and comprehensive care. The aim in the renovations is to create a healthy and supportive space where these teens can battle and be victorious over their addictions. Special thanks to The Makoy Center for donating their space entirely free of charge to support this important cause.
