A MESSAGE FROM VIP 27 - COLUMBUS
We, the 27th leadership class of Next Level Trainings, were charged with creating an impactful community service project. Our decision as a team was to stand in support of women regaining their dignity after trauma.
Many women in our communities are overcoming abuse, addiction, disease, and other unfortunate circumstances. Women who have experienced trauma suffer from a lack of confidence, lack of empowerment, and unseen damage to their physical and emotional health. Intending to create impact, synergy, and empowerment in our community, our team chose to support Everybody Beautiful. Everybody Beautiful is a 501(c)3 non-profit that reignites hope by providing a wide range of resources to transform their lives through the promotion of self-confidence, health, and beauty from the inside out.
With a team of only 28 individuals, we boldly declared to raise $40,000 in 12 days for Everybody Beautiful. We reached out to corporations, local businesses, family, and friends to support this cause, and our campaign reached from coast to coast.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, our leadership team adapted to the crisis by securing the safety of our community and canceling our fundraising event. Despite this, we raised $43,224 and sourced 268 tangible goods, which is a true testament to the power of intention and leadership.
Kristin Rutledge, founder of Everybody Beautiful, responded to our fundraising efforts by making the following statement, “I have been beyond honored and quite honestly, speechless- to have been the selected non-profit recipient of Next Level Trainings CSP fundraiser. The hours of dedication and teamwork to make this possible is like nothing I have ever witnessed. Everybody Beautiful will never be the same, and the impact from every teammate has made it possible to switch from surviving into total thriving mode. The mission of Everybody Beautiful will also be stronger than ever as so many lives have been turned upside down by this unexpected nationwide outbreak.”
We are over the moon about our results and still in awe of the impact we have made in such a short period of time. It is truly amazing what can happen when a team bands together to achieve a goal that changes the world forever.
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who contributed to our campaign and supported us along the way. Thank you to Next Level Trainings’ leadership, coaches, and graduates, and the many donors from all walks of our lives. We are truly grateful for the lessons we have learned and the connections we created not only within our team but out in the world.
