Release: Next Level Trainings 10th Leadership Class Exceeds Fundraising Goal Raising $61,008 in 29 Days For Urban Creators

The 10th leadership class of Next Level Trainings has completed their fundraising efforts in support of Urban Creators’ Life Do Grow farm in North Philadelphia, surpassing their initial goal of $50,000.  The initial goal was reached after only twenty-five days worth of fundraising. In total $61, 008 was raised.

What does $50,000 mean to a three-acre farm? For one urban oasis in North Philly, it’s a literal lifesaver. The Life Do Grow farm, a nearly decade-old sanctuary on a corner lot at 11th and Dakota streets, is recieving a $55,000 boost thanks to a recent crowdfunding effort. The crowdfunding initiative was led by local entrepreneurs enrolled in the Next Level Trainings, an Ohio-based program that teaches leadership skills.

Exceeding with $56,333 raised and climbing, the group of 23 leaders continues to create opportunities to impact the Urban Creators’ work by maximizing their fundraising total. There will be a check presentation representing the total contribution to date tonight, Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Urban Creators, located at 2315 N 11th St, Philadelphia, PA 19133.

The 10th leadership class of Next Level Trainings has surpassed their goal of raising $50,000 in support of Urban Creators’ Life Do Grow farm in North Philadelphia.  This goal was reached with less than a month’s worth of fundraising. Exceeding $50,922 raised, the group of 23 leaders continues to create opportunities to impact the Urban Creators’ work by maximizing their fundraising total.

The 10th leadership class of Next Level Trainings will be holding a Day of Service for Urban Creators with physical labor and general farming. The group will also bring in industry experts to teach financial/budget management, branding and marketing information, graphic design, and business modeling. By empowering the community with these skills, the community can continue to expand economic development for the neighborhood.

Twenty-three leaders have put together a spontaneous and intentional fundraising campaign to support the Urban Creators' Life Do Grow farm in North Philadelphia. Upon hearing of the farm's recent hardships, as well as its opportunities, the 10th leadership class of Next Level Trainings has committed to raising $50,000 for the local organization.
