Embodied Intention: 5 Practices to Create More of What You Want

Being a fierce change agent in the world, life can move very quickly. Slowing down and having the time to zoom out and realign can sound like a foreign concept, but "slowing down to speed up" is a mindful approach that has the power to 10X your results.

What is EmbodIED Intention?

Embodied Intention is all about bringing a clear, focused, and awakened awareness to your current lifestyle and habits. This, of course, comes with practice. But we believe as you embody the ideas below, these practices will support you to create more of what you want with ease and flow:

1. Self-Care

Self-care is crucial to embodied intention because you are creating the time to get in tune with how you're feeling physically and emotionally. This also has a great effect on your performance and results, day to day. If you've been feeling stressed, "in your head", or misunderstood, taking the time to relax and check-in with what's on your mind can create a powerful shift in being able to move forward with alignment and ease. Self-care is also incredibly valuable because when you take care of you, you become a walking billboard of love and confidence to all of those around you. There is nothing more magnetic than someone who truly loves and respects themselves. This will not only amplify your social circle but will also signal your value to your clients and team!

2. Mindset and results

Bringing your intention to the table is a game-changer for here because you naturally attract the very same thing you're focusing on. Say you focus on creating joyful results with yourself and your clients, you have just elevated the playing field for the experience of working with you. Beyond providing a service or generating a result, your mindset can create an experience in which you and your clients feel energized, inspired, and ready to take on any obstacles that may arise. As you master your mindset, you will create raving fans, and loyal clients, because work with you will create an attractive experience, not only a finished product. This same concept can be applied to friendships, finances, family, spirituality, and more.

3. Intimacy and Relationships

Intimacy is one of the most crucial components of any type of relationship, be it romantic, casual, or professional. Being clear about what you're looking for and what matters to you will create more opportunities for you to have your needs met. It will also open up space for others to be clear in communicating with you. By embodying your authentic truth, you can form meaningful conversations which will lead to trust and a powerful foundation for both parties to win. Being intentional and clear on your wants/needs, you honor your boundaries, fill your own cup, and reap all the benefits of healthy, thriving relationships.

4. Aligning with your purpose

Embodied intention also means aligning with your purpose. Asking yourself the questions like "How can I be of service with my talents and gifts?", and "What action (small or large) can I take this week towards my goals and dreams?" will support you to uncover what is most important to you and where investing your time and energy will bring you the most fulfillment in your results. Many people put their purpose on the back burner and go through their career, relationships, finances, and life without clarity or intention. By having a clear direction and alignment with where you want to go, you will discover new opportunities and experiences unknown to the average person. Let your alignment to your purpose expand your life.

5. Leadership

Embodied intention amplifies the way you reach and connect with others. Whether you're volunteering, working with clients, or using your voice to make a difference in your community, by living your values and leading by example, those around you will be positively impacted by your leadership. This will create new opportunities for you to become a change agent and servant leader in the world. When people understand your message and what you are about, you will find yourself surrounded by a tribe of peers and thought-leaders wanting to join your cause.

Now that you’ve created an incredible awareness in the specific areas of your life. It’s time to practice and apply. What practice to you feel most inspired by?
